Within the scope of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, the Technical Sciences Vocational School hosted students from Iğdır Special Education Vocational School. Student clubs from our university also participated in the event. Students from the Spatial Information Club, White Crescent Club, Göyap Club, Project Research Development and Production Club, and IT Academy Club welcomed the Special Education Vocational School students and accompanied them in every activity. The vocational school students engaged in various activities with their older peers studying at the university. The events began with a balloon introduction that included everyone, supported by various academics. Instructor Elif Kırkkeseli guided the students in a marbling art workshop. After each student experienced this activity individually, they watched various chemistry experiments in Instructor Musa Karadağ's chemistry laboratory. Dr. Belkıs Muca Yiğit collected the handprints of each student on a banner as a memento for the Vocational School. Instructor Emirhan Özdemir captured moments of the students in the vocational school's garden with a drone, which excited the students greatly. Dr. Bahadır Akman hosted the students in the Hunting and Wildlife Program's laboratory and provided information about various wild animals. The students, particularly intrigued by the discussions about snakes, asked insightful questions while examining live specimens. The event concluded with the distribution of refreshments prepared by the academic team and students of the Vocational School to the students and their teachers.
